Follow my blog with Bloglovin

I just realized while looking through my bloglovin’ feed, my blog was nowhere to be found. I searched high & low, but I came up with nothing. So after doing some research, I learned I had to connect my actual blog to bloglovin’ itself. Who woulda knew? haha. Don’t I feel like a goof. Anyway, it told me, “In some blogs it necessary to put the code in the top of the blog post. So here we go. Hope this worked.

Welcome to the Family

I'm so sorry to all my readers that I haven't posted in a few days. I haven't really done much to talk about. But one highlight of my week so far has been my new little buddy & one of the cutest things you'll ever see...

I seen this sweet baby at a local pet shop & he grabbed my attention. (Which every animal does because I love them all). I have the biggest heart when it comes to animals & if I could, I would take in every animal that doesn't have a home. One of my goals is to have my own pet sanctuary for rescue animals of all kinds.
Anyway, I seen him & he just stared into my soul. He's half Chihuahua & half Mini Pinscher & I love the fact that he's playful. Well that's all I have for tonight my loves. Stayed tuned for more on some maternity picks tomorrow! :)

Room for my Little

Lately I’ve been trying so hard for find anything for the baby’s room. I can’t decide on any furniture or a theme, & it makes it much harder to do when you don’t know the gender yet & I’m not a fan of gender neutral rooms. I’m really confused when it comes down to it. It’s a lot harder than what I had thought.

But inspiration in never far away when you have Pinterest. Here’s some nursery’s I found adorable.

In the pictures, it is very hard to tell what is in the 2nd building block, but its an 8.

 • How far along? 18 weeks & 4 days
 • Baby is the size of a: Mango (6in, .5lbs)
 • Total weight gain: My last appointment, the scales said I gained 7lbs.
 • Maternity clothes? Not yet, but definitely needing some.
 • Stretch marks? Not yet (praying for none)
 • Belly button in or out? In
 • Baby bump? Yes
 • Sleep? Good
 • Symptoms: Headaches, cramps, big appetite, lower back pain, irritability, itchy, night sweats, frequent urination & constipation(TMI right lol).
 • I'm missing: The way my body used to be. Being able to walk a long time without feeling exhausted. How I can't get any tattoos or piercings.
 • Food cravings/aversions: I crave ice cream a lot, fruit, salads, cake & Golden Puffs cereal. Aversions, I don't really have any.
 • Gender: Don't know until August 2nd.
 • Names for baby: Haven't really picked any out since I don't know the gender yet.
 • Movement: I started feeling he/she move when I was 17weeks. I feel it a few times a day.
 • Baby's development: Arms & legs are finally proportionate, neurons are connected betweens the brain & muscles. Cartilage is turning to bone. A substance called vernix caseosa ( vernix: varnish, caseosa: cheese) is covering baby's body for protection from the amniotic fluid. Yes I said cheese. Weird!
 • Labor signs: Nope.

DIY Makeup Brush Holder

I really needed some place to keep my makeup brushes, while being organized & stylish. I had been seeing all these post of mason jars dressed up & I loved how easy & simple they were.

I started with a plain mason jar(we have tons of them around our place because my grandma use to can veggies) & some DecoArt Crafters Acrylic Paint(color is called Tutti Fruitti).

I would put a bit of the paint in the jar & rotate it every few minutes so the paint would coat the whole inside of the jar.

I continued to do so until I got the whole inside covered, then I turned the jar upside-down on w styrofoam plate for the excess paint to drip out. I had to wait for about 12 hours for all of it to come out. I turned it right side-up & let it dry for a few more hours. Added the brushes & hello there adorable!

Feeling Crafty

I decided I wanted to make an erasable Daily To Do board. I got my inspiration for Pinterest of course. Only difference is its not going to be used as a menu.

I started with a cute little picture frame from Hobby Lobby that was on sale for $7!!

Got some construction paper & scissors for the background. Wrote Daily To Do's on it & put it inside the frame :).

Tatted Up…in a few months

I know, I know…I’m pregnant & I should be focusing all my time & mind on my baby, in which I am but when you’re like I am, you’re a little obsessed with body modifications. I love tattoos like nothing else. Art has always been a passion on mine & creating my own art for my own body is something that makes my heart truly happy.

I’ve been counting the days until I can get another tattoo (approximately 155 days)! So when its days like this, where I didn't have much to do, I looked on Pinterest :). Here are some that I found, that I’d love to have.

SnowflakesI wish I had one like that

Yes, I have a huge variety of what I want, but keep in mind, I’d like to be almost completely covered in them one day. Its not everybody’s cup of tea, but there is several people out there that express who they are, how they feel or something from their past this way. That’s why I love body art so much. Its so versatile & appealing to the eye.

Well this is my very first post. I know absolutely nothing about blogging but I think that it's adorable & figured I'd try it! I'll post DIY projects, things I wear, pictures & what's going on in my pregnancy. So here we go, I already started documenting my pregnancy with pictures every 2 weeks.
This is the 1st picture I took. It wasn't a very good picture because it was took in a dimly lit hallway.

Here's my 2nd try at 12 weeks. Still in a hallway & still awful quality. I didn't think it'd be hard to take pictures of yourself & while holding something but I found out really quick, it is.

After a few tries, I decided to hang up the board & face toward a window for better lighting. I thought it turned out much better but I still have to work on it.

16 weeks & things looked better except for the hideous boxes on the side.
